The Dominion Post reports that Colin Tarr, principal of Titahi Bay North Primary School, had a grin from ear to ear last month.
These goalposts, long hoped for by the students, were donated by the Wellington Rugby Football Union and Downer provided employees to erect them.
'The kids had a ball meeting and interacting with the WRFU and Downer folk', said Colin Tarr, 'and this will be something they remember for a long time. Look how excited and happy they are in the photo. We are really grateful that you were prepared to help this little primary school out here at the end of the Western Porirua peninsula'.
