Philanthropy NZ's chief executive, Liz Gibbs, is one of a line-up of national and international speakers appearing at Collective Impact 2014, a two-day conference being held in Wellington on 12 & 13 June. The conference is a chance for players from the government, not-for-profit, philanthropic and business sectors to explore the opportunities offered by a collective impact framework.
Liz joined Philanthropy New Zealand as Chief Executive in January 2013, having spent three years as chief executive at Save the Children New Zealand where she led a significant expansion of services, revenue and profitability. Until this year, she also chaired the Every Child Counts Coalition, a group of child-focused organisations including Plunket, Barnardos, Unicef and Ririki. Liz has wide-ranging experience in marketing, fundraising, advocacy and government relations, as well as a keen interest in social enterprise and social finance.
